What to Expect

WHAT TO EXPECT
We are confident that your experience at Puremedica will be different. We place the utmost importance on getting to know our patients and taking the time to investigate their health concerns. 

Prior to your initial visit, we ask that you take the time to complete the intake forms found in the patient form section of our website, and bring it with you to your initial consultation.  If you do not have access to a computer, please arrive at the clinic approximately 20 minutes before your appointment to allow time to complete the paper work.  In order for us to provide the best possible care, it is important that you take the time to fill out the forms throughly.  Although this form is quite extensive it provides us with an accurate health history and an up- to-date assessment of your current health.  If you have any questions regarding the forms, leave them blank and we will go over them in your visit.  Also, please remember to bring any lab work you may have.

Complimentary Consult
In this free 15-minute session you will meet the naturopathic doctors and will have the opportunity to explore the world of naturopathic medicine.  If you are unsure how naturopathy can help you, this is the perfect option for you.

Initial Consultation
Your first visit is an hour in length and will include a detailed inquiry of your current and past health status.  We will review the intake form, your health concerns and may complete a relevant physical exam.  If required, you will be given a requisition to complete further blood work.  Depending on the complexity of your health concern, you may or may not be presented with an initial treatment plan.
*Please remember to bring your completed intake form and any recent test results.

Second Visit
During this 45 minute visit a physical exam will be completed if not done during your initial consultation.  Naturopathic treatment options will be explored as well as any concerns not addressed in the first visit.  We will work as a team to develop an individualized treatment plan that most suits your needs.

Follow-up Visits
Follow-up appointments last from 15-30 minutes depending on the individual health requirements.  They will allow us the opportunity to assess your progress and refine your treatment plan as necessary.
