Tamarah Chaddah is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine(CCNM) and co-founder of Puremedica Naturopathic Practice. Tamarah completed her clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC), after completing 3 years at CCNM. Before she began her education in Naturopathy, Tamarah completed a four year honors degree in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario. While at Western, Tamarah completed her Thesis in Health Psychology.
During her time at CCNM,Tamarah acquired extra training in breast health and weight management through the ‘Be Your Best Self’ program and The Healthy Breast Teaching Training program. She also participated in a month long externship in Vietnam, where she worked in a hospital observing acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Tamarah was also an intern at Anishnawbe Health Center, a clinic focused on aboriginal health located in downtown Toronto.
Tamarah regularly attends seminars and conferences, and is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy Naturopathy. Besides naturopathic medicine, Tamarah enjoys long distance running, and regularly participates in annual runs for various causes.
Mardi Baum, BSc, ND
Mardi Baum is co-founder of Puremedica Naturopathic Medicine and is very passionate about naturopathic medicine. She believes that the body has a true ability to heal itself and that gentle, non-invasive approaches can help facilitate this healing process. Dr. Baum’s focus is on family medicine, with a special interest in pediatrics.
She received her naturopathic degree from the prestigious Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), an accredited, intensive four-year naturopathic medical program. During her clinical year, she participated in a one-month externship to Vietnam, where she received additional training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She was also selected to be an intern on the pediatric shift at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, where she gained additional experience caring for and treating children aged newborn-16 years with conditions such as eczema and autism. In addition, Mardi interned at the Anishnawbe Health Centre, a clinic focused on Aboriginal health, located in downtown Toronto.
Dr. Baum is certified in Level 1 Reiki and in the Healthy Breast Teacher Training course. She is also a graduate from the University of Western Ontario with a BSc in Honours Psychology and a concurrent French degree.
Aside from naturopathic medicine, Mardi enjoys playing the piano, exercising and spending time with family and friends. Mardi is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy Naturopathy. She is also an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors as well as the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and regularly attends naturopathic seminars and conferences.
